Role Purpose
G-Research hires the best engineering talent in the world. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Engineering, you will identify, engage and hire exceptional Software Engineers.
You will own a creative, proactive engagement strategy across a genuinely hard to reach talent pool, spanning all levels of experience. That means mapping the market deeply, then building relationships through creative outreach across the world.
Internally, you will partner closely with Engineers & Hiring Managers to understand their needs and utilise their networks, adding to our world-class talent pool.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Building an extensive multi-year pipeline of talent
- Lead creative sourcing initiatives to engage hard to reach talent where traditional methods fall short
- Networking to build out candidate pipeline and develop effective relationships
- Partner with leadership to define what game-changing talent looks like, and proactively champion exceptional candidates that could add value to the business
- Driving external and internal referrals
- Cultivating relationships with our technologists, developing valuable feedback loops on recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Understanding candidate ambitions, motivations, and career options to inform closing strategy
- Sharing expertise and market knowledge with the wider team, feeding insights in to marketing, and contributing to the development of our Engineering branding programme
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- 4+ years’ experience recruiting hard to reach, top engineering talent
- Proven networking/business development experience
- Competent in market mapping and execution
- The ability to build strong relationships with candidates, the rest of the Talent Acquisition team, and internal stakeholders
- Driven to succeed in a high performing environment
