Talent Acquisition Specialist - Lancashire

Part-time | 0.6 FTE | Hybrid
£40k - £45k - FTE

I am supporting an established organisation with the appointment of a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its People Team. This is a confidential opportunity with a business operating across a range of specialist and technical functions.

The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality, efficient recruitment service across the organisation, managing vacancies from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, and working in a fast-paced environment where they can have a visible impact.

The Role

You will take ownership of a varied recruitment portfolio, supporting both technical and non-technical appointments. Working closely with hiring managers and the wider People Team, you will provide a proactive and commercially focused recruitment service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers and providing advice throughout the recruitment process.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent pools, referrals and direct sourcing.
  • Screening applications and assessing candidates against agreed requirements.
  • Coordinating interviews and assessments while ensuring a professional candidate experience.
  • Creating and promoting engaging vacancy adverts across appropriate channels.
  • Developing and maintaining talent pools for recurring and business-critical roles.
  • Supporting internal recruitment and employee referral initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment information within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Producing and using recruitment data to monitor activity, progress and performance.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and efficiency.
  • Supporting employer branding and recruitment-related activities.
  • Working with external recruitment agencies where required.
  • Ensuring recruitment activity is fair, inclusive and aligned with relevant policies and legislation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
