We’re not looking for someone to just fill jobs. We’re looking for someone to change how recruitment feels.
We’re looking for a Talent and Resourcing Advisor who can help us find top tier people and make the journey feel brilliant for candidates and hiring managers too.
This isn’t recruitment on autopilot. It’s talent and resourcing with curiosity, pace, data, creativity and a healthy dose of “why don’t we try this?”.
You’ll work across a mix of roles, with a real chance to shape how we attract and hire great people into our customer experience teams - the people supporting our customers every day.
We want someone who can look beyond filling vacancies and help us build better pipelines, sharper attraction plans, fairer assessments and stronger routes for people to move, grow and progress across Yorkshire Housing.
What you’ll get stuck into
You’ll be the person managers come to when they need more than a shortlist - they need insight, challenge and a proper plan. You’ll help them get clear on what they need, use evidence well and apply an equality, diversity and inclusion lens throughout - challenging bias, removing barriers and making sure assessments are accessible.
You’ll also have space to think ahead, not just who do we need now, but who might we need next, and how could we build, buy or borrow the skills we need. You’ll:
- Shape smart recruitment campaigns for priority, specialist and hard-to-fill roles
- Bring fresh thinking to attraction, customer experience recruitment and proactive talent pipelines
- Use workforce planning, market insight and recruitment data to spot skills gaps and shape better hiring decisions
- Support conversations about talent mobility, internal progression, secondments and career pathways and help managers think through build, buy or borrow options
- Coach managers to recruit fairly, consistently and confidently
- Design inclusive assessments that help us spot potential, not just polish
- Bring our employer brand to life across digital channels
- Use recruitment tech and our ATS to make the process simpler, slicker and smarter
- Spot opportunities to improve how we work - then help make them happen

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we’re looking for
You’ll know recruitment and resourcing, but what will really excite you is the move towards broader talent thinking - seeing how attraction, assessment, onboarding, internal movement and retention all connect across the colleague journey.
Building trust with hiring managers will come naturally to you. You’ll ask the right questions and help people make good recruitment decisions - even when that means challenging their thinking.
Alongside that you’ll bring;
- A real care for candidate experience, inclusion and impact, creating fair processes that spot potential and help everyone feel respected, informed and valued - whether they get the job or not.
- Confidence using recruitment systems, data and market insight to understand what’s working, what isn’t and where we might need to try something different.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to juggle priorities, keep things moving, manage the detail and know when to move quickly without cutting corners.
- It would also help if you’ve worked on attraction plans, inclusive assessment methods, talent pipelines, internal mobility, career pathways, employer brand activity or high-volume recruitment.
