Salary: Up to £28,000 based on experience

Location: Manchester

Job type: Full time

Working Pattern: 2 days per week onsite | 4.5 day working week (Half day Fridays)

Profile of Role

The Talent Coordinator provides the delivery and coordination capacity that embellishes our Talent Development offering and gives wider flexible support to the People team across the colleague lifecycle.

The role has a clear growth path toward Talent/L&D Advisor or Specialist within 12–18 months and to build up practical automation and AI skills as part of that development.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • HR/L&D administration or coordination experience
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Comfortable and confident presenter
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and platforms
  • Curious about AI tools and keen to develop in this space
  • A confident people person with the ability to build rapport with different audiences
  • Able to digest information, identify what matters and simplify complex topics for others
  • Naturally curious, with a willingness to ask questions and develop understanding
  • Genuine interest in helping others learn, develop and succeed
  • Clear motivation to grow toward a Talent/L&D Advisor or Specialist role within 12–18 month

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics and communications across all L&D and talent programmes
  • Administer the learning platform/LMS: content uploads, user access and completion tracking
  • Support content creation and curation under the direction of the L&D Manager
  • Produce participation, completion and engagement reporting/MI
  • Act as first line of support for employee and manager talent & people queries
  • Provide support across the colleague talent lifecycle
  • Provide flexible coordination capacity for the wider People team during peak periods and key lifecycle moments
  • Provides support across key business events and initiatives
  • Hosting and facilitating sessions across different stakeholders and topics

Embedding AI & automation

This role is expected to grow into a genuine automation and AI practitioner within the People team, not just a user of existing systems:

  • Identify and pilot opportunities to automate repetitive People team admin - scheduling, reporting and content drafting - using Infinity's approved AI tools
  • Use AI tools to speed up L&D content creation, curation and MI/reporting, under the direction of the L&D Manager
  • Build working knowledge of Infinity's AI governance framework and approved tools list, applying it correctly to any AI-assisted work
  • Support the practical rollout of AI adoption initiatives across the People team, such as show-and-tell sessions and hackathon-style events
  • Supports using tools to automate core people life cycle processes
  • Progress through Infinity's AI Competency Framework maturity levels as part of personal development, working toward the growth path to Advisor/Specialist
