Talent Coach (Remote)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Coach based in the United Kingdom.
This is a remote opportunity to help high-performing professionals strengthen their performance, communication, and client-service skills.
You will work one-on-one with talented professionals from around the world, helping them address challenges and return to strong performance.
The role combines coaching, performance management, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement in a highly distributed environment.
You will also contribute to workshops, group coaching, interview preparation, and the development of resources that support talent success at scale.
Your work will have a direct impact on both individual professional development and the quality of service delivered to clients.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while enjoying significant autonomy and responsibility in a global remote organization.
This role is ideal for an experienced coach, performance specialist, or HR professional who is action-oriented, empathetic, adaptable, and passionate about helping exceptional talent thrive.
Accountabilities
- Provide ongoing coaching and practical guidance to professionals on project management, communication, productivity, and workplace professionalism.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to identify, address, and remediate performance issues through clear objectives, actionable feedback, and relevant resources.
- Investigate previous performance information and relevant data to assess individual situations and determine appropriate next steps.
- Review interview recordings to verify adherence to platform standards and provide constructive guidance when improvements are required.
- Deliver or support live webinars, workshops, and group coaching sessions designed to prevent common performance and communication challenges.
- Assess incoming coaching requests, prioritize cases, and select the most appropriate coaching approach based on established guidelines, available data, and individual needs.
- Document coaching activities and outcomes to measure impact, identify trends, and help scale effective coaching programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams when specialized support or additional expertise is required.
- Prepare professionals for interviews and help them develop the skills and behaviors needed to succeed in client engagements.
- Curate, improve, and expand coaching resources, playbooks, and learning materials.
- Monitor existing and emerging processes and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of coaching operations.
- Progressively take ownership of complex productivity and performance cases and become a subject matter expert in talent coaching practices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher-education qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in performance management, professional coaching, talent development, or HR business partner roles.
- Experience working with technical professionals such as software developers, designers, project managers, or other specialized talent is a strong advantage.
- Excellent customer-centric communication skills, with exceptional professionalism across video calls, email, Slack, and other digital communication channels.
- Ability to conduct sensitive feedback and performance conversations objectively while guiding individuals toward constructive, measurable actions.
- Strong action-oriented coaching style, with the ability to synthesize multiple sources of feedback and performance data into clear and practical development plans.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, including the ability to make effective recommendations when information is incomplete or ambiguous.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a highly distributed and remote environment.
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to learn new systems, processes, and priorities quickly as the organization evolves.
- Genuine passion for helping professionals develop and for improving how organizations connect with exceptional talent.
- Strong continuous-improvement mindset and openness to receiving and acting on challenging feedback.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple coaching cases and initiatives effectively.
- Strong individual-contributor mindset, with the ability to take ownership, execute independently, and lead through expertise rather than authority.
- Fluent English is required, as all professional communication and application materials must be conducted in English.
- Ability to work remotely from Germany or within the supported European time zones; visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is not provided.
