About The Role

This opportunity is a 12-month fixed term contract, suitable for someone at manager grade or equivalent. You will support a coachee cohort of circa 45-50 associates and senior associates in our Tax line of service, many of whom will be working towards a professional qualification or apprenticeship. You will play a key role in helping them perform at their best, build the skills they need for now and the future, realise their potential and feel supported through the moments that matter in their early careers journey. This will include coaching them through goal setting, feedback, performance and development conversations, while working closely with stakeholders across the business unit to support belonging, wellbeing, high performance and accelerated skills acquisition.

What Your Days Will Look Like
- Coaching a cohort of around 45–50 associates and senior associates, supporting performance, development, wellbeing and career progression.
- Helping coachees set clear goals, seek and act on feedback, and stay on track through regular performance and development conversations.
- Supporting coachees to identify and build skills for their current role and future career, including professional qualification or apprenticeship pathways where relevant.
- Building trusted relationships and creating an inclusive, psychologically safe environment where individuals can speak openly and realise their potential.
- Supporting Talent Review Groups, performance reviews, promotion conversations and personal development planning with fair, evidence-based input.
- Recognising wellbeing or performance concerns early, providing appropriate support and escalating sensitively where needed.

This Role Is For You If
- Passionate about supporting and enabling people to be their best
- Have demonstrable experience leading others and managing people including workload, performance and development
- Skilled in engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders and comfortable providing feedback to enable high performance, even in challenging situations
- Able to demonstrate coaching experience.
- Experienced in supporting wellbeing.
