Role Description

The Talent Consultant role is a remote position focused on advising and supporting comedians as they develop their careers. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting consultations with talent
  • Assessing career goals and creating individualized development strategies
  • Providing guidance on bookings, networking, and industry positioning
  • Offering feedback on materials such as bios, promotional content, and showreels
  • Collaborating with internal experts to identify opportunities
  • Supporting workforce planning for projects and events
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and progress

Qualifications

  • Consulting and Coaching skills to provide structured guidance, actionable feedback, and career advice to comedic talent.
  • Recruiting and Talent Management skills to identify promising performers, support their development, and manage ongoing talent relationships.
  • Workforce Planning skills to help align talent availability with opportunities, projects, and long-term career paths.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work inclusively with diverse talent.
  • Familiarity with the comedy or broader entertainment industry, including live performance and digital platforms, is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple clients, and use digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Relevant experience in talent consulting, entertainment, or agency settings; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
