Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Development Manager to join our Edinburgh office. In this role, you will implement and continuously improve Avaloq's talent development strategies, programmes and experiences which build organisational capability across a global workforce. This role focuses on strengthening leadership and management potential, accelerating employee growth, supporting talent and succession processes and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

This position will connect you with many business areas within Avaloq, and in close collaboration with HR Business Partners, leaders and subject matter experts, you will ensure development initiatives align with organisational priorities and future capability requirements.

  • Design and lead development programmes, develop capability frameworks, facilitate workshops and instigate developmental interventions
  • Guide managers, senior leaders and high-potential employees using newly developed capability frameworks, learning pathways and development experiences to equip them with the skills and tools to successfully lead, manage and cultivate their talents
  • Establish collaborative partnerships and networks to become a trusted advisor, identifier of key talent and pioneer of continuous learning and development across Avaloq
  • Manage global learning programmes from design and implementation through to evaluation and governance by partnering with external providers, maintaining relevant and engaging content, and spearheading the adoption and adoption of digital learning platforms and modern learning practices.
  • Utilise data proficiently to evaluate the efficiency of initiatives, identify trends and opportunities, produce executive-level reports or dashboards and turn employee feedback and organisational insights into actionable improvements

Qualifications

  • Proven track record working in a Talent Development, Talent Management, Organisation Development, L&D or HR role
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing management and leadership development programmes
  • Experience advancing talent review, succession planning and high-potential development processes
  • Expertise in project and programme management
  • Ability to examine data and translate insights into meaningful action
  • Exemplary communication skills, with the ability to facilitate sessions, build relationships, influence key stakeholders, and to work in a globally and culturally diverse organisation
