At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Generalist to join our GHO HR team based remotely to the UK.

Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 5, Friday 8:30 – 14:10

The Role

This is a varied and exciting opportunity to play a key role in our Talent team, supporting the delivery of our talent agenda across the business. You’ll combine coordination, analysis and relationship management, taking ownership of key areas including UK apprenticeships, talent analytics and talent communications.

Working closely with the Talent Director and Talent Partners, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to talent reviews, development programmes and external talent mapping, gaining broad experience across the Talent agenda.

Talent Reviews:

  • You’ll coordinate our twice-yearly talent review cycle, bringing together 5-box, succession and talent-risk information into a clear and accurate central view.
  • You’ll ensure submissions are complete and accurate, maintain confidentiality, support reporting and use your analytical skills to identify trends, gaps and insights for discussion with the Talent team.
  • You’ll also own the communications strategy for the talent review, working with our Communications team to build awareness, engagement and understanding of the process and its importance.

Apprenticeships:

  • You’ll own the day-to-day oversight of our UK apprenticeship programme and Skills and Growth Levy, including tracking expenditure and utilisation, managing provider relationships, monitoring learner progress and programme quality, and promoting apprenticeships as a development and recruitment route.
  • You’ll also keep up to date with evolving government requirements to ensure our approach remains effective and compliant.

Learning & Development:

  • You’ll coordinate the delivery of learning and development activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning through to follow-up. This will include scheduling, invitations, venues, materials, participant communications, attendance, evaluation and actions.

You won’t need to be an expert in content creation or facilitation from day one. What matters is that you’re curious, proactive and keen to develop new skills. As our talent agenda evolves, there may be opportunities to create content and deliver development sessions, with support provided to help you build your capability.
