Role Overview
A newly created role supporting all recruitment needs across the business, working with the Head of People and Development to manage hiring end-to-end job postings, direct sourcing, CV screening, initial screening interviews, and coordinating smoothly through to onboarding.
This role sits within the People team and is the day-to-day engine room for recruitment at Hozah, managing live vacancies, running first-line screening, and keeping every hiring manager's process moving.
You'll own the recruitment platforms and applicant tracking (Asana) end-to-end, making sure every live role has an accurate, up-to-date pipeline that hiring managers and the Head of People can trust at a glance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Key Responsibilities

- Actively source candidates directly; LinkedIn, job boards, and networking, reducing the business's reliance on expensive recruitment agencies.
- Screen CVs and applications against each role's must-haves, and run initial screening interviews to test fit before passing candidates to hiring managers.
- Partner with department heads and directors to understand hiring needs, and support them in building clear, accurate job briefs and specs.
- Own and maintain the applicant tracking system (Asana) for every live role, keeping pipelines, stages, and candidate notes accurate and current.
- Help promote Hozah as a great place to work, supporting employer branding to attract stronger direct applicants and reduce agency spend over time.
- Coordinate with the Head of People and Development on onboarding, ensuring a smooth handover from offer acceptance through to a candidate's first day.
