Contract Type: Fixed Term (9 months)
Hours: Full-time/ Part Time (minimum 0.8 FTE) (flexible working available)
Location: Polaris House, Swindon, Wiltshire - Hybrid working available (Min 2 days per week in the office)

About the role
To provide a dedicated administration service to support primarily the Talent team with key projects and deliverables. Maintaining a professional proactive approach when interacting with stakeholders.
- Support the annual performance management cycle, answering inbox queries and sign posting resources.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to provide performance appraisal completion data during the annual performance cycle and other ad hoc performance system reporting as required.
- Organise and coordinate internal and external meetings, including issuing of relevant papers and or content for the wider Talent Team.
- Provide administrative & project planning support as required across the Talent Team.
Your responsibilities:
Administration
- Extract and report on performance data from Oracle Fusion (HR System)
- Respond to performance & appraisal queries via the appraisal inbox or escalate and consult others who can provide the answer, resolving & triaging queries in a timely manner.
- Produce, maintain and update published resources for the Talent & Performance Team including guidance and toolkits.
- Provide administration support across the Talent team including Early Careers recruitment, Strategic Workforce Planning & Talent Attraction. Duties may include supporting assessment centres, and administrative support for ad hoc project work as and when required.
Engagement
- HR colleagues to support the adoption of performance within Oracle Fusion providing data and insights.
- The Performance Champions Network to support their role as ambassadors for performance management across UKRI, including arranging diaries and presenting on a quarterly basis.
- HR customers and stakeholders to monitor appraisal enquires that are both system, process and / or policy led.
Personal Specification

Essential
- This role would suit a person with administrative skills and interest in HR
- Experience of or interest in working in an administrative and or HR function (S).
- Experience of working in an administrative role that involves customer facing (S&I).
- Experience of using MS Excel to manipulate data to produce reports (I).
- Experience of using MS PowerPoint to produce graphs/charts which tell a story (I).
- Oral & written skills and an ability to communicate information concisely and clearly (S&I).
- Highly customer service focused (I).
- Ability to work in a professional and proactive manner (S&I).
