Talent Assistant

As a leading law firm in Northern Ireland, the foundations of our success are rooted in our talent strategy. We are recruiting a Talent Assistant to support the Talent function for our Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career in a truly generalist role, gaining exposure across the full range of HR activities while working as part of a supportive, friendly, and collaborative team.

Purpose

To provide support to the Talent Management team in Belfast - implementing the Firm's talent strategy and promoting HR best practice and inclusive culture.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Provide a quality and professional HR administration service at all times
  • Administer and maintain HR systems in order to produce accurate and timely HR information
  • Assist and administer recruitment and selection activities including annual summer intern, apprentice and traineeship processes
  • Assist with our traineeship programme management and development
  • Monitor absenteeism levels and leave records
  • Administration of new joiner and leaver processes
  • Assist with work experience administration, organisation and induction
  • Administration of employee benefits, payroll and annual bonus and salary processes
  • Assist with the organisation of employee engagement and D&I projects
  • Champion the diversity, equality and inclusion values and practices within the firm
  • Co-ordination of Talent sessions relating to staff training and mentoring
  • Submission of equality monitoring reporting
  • Support in ad-hoc HR/Talent projects as they arise
  • Filing and other administrative or compliance duties associated with the above

Essential Experience

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong administrative skills
