Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Manager to join our talented team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our productions feature the best talent, delivering exceptional performances across all our contracts. In addition to casting, the Talent Manager will oversee the recruitment of light entertainment staff, ensuring that every production is supported by skilled and enthusiastic individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Production Team Casting & Recruitment: Manage casting processes for all contracts while recruiting light entertainment staff, collaborating closely with Account Managers, Product Delivery Managers, and the Creative Director to understand specific role requirements.
- Advertising and Outreach: Utilise platforms like Spotlight and online job boards to advertise casting breakdowns and light entertainment staff positions effectively.
- Candidate Screening: Review submissions, showreels, portfolios, and resumes, shortlisting candidates who align with project needs for both performers and entertainment staff.
- Audition Coordination & Interviewing: Plan and conduct auditions for performers, and coordinate interviews and recruitment for light entertainment roles, ensuring that all logistics such as venue setup and scheduling are handled efficiently.
- Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive talent database for both performers and staff, ensuring all project-specific information is up-to-date and accessible via QR code boards.
- Feedback and Recommendations: Provide constructive feedback to candidates and staff, making recommendations based on audition performance, interview results, and role suitability.
- Offer Management: Extend job offers and manage communication with candidates through to contract negotiation and finalisation.
- Agent and Talent Relations: Liaise with actors, agents, and entertainment staff to build strong relationships and facilitate smooth communication.
- Interview Support: Conduct online interviews for both talent and staff as needed to support Account Managers in assessing candidate suitability.
- Work with Schools and Colleges: Establish and nurture relationships with schools and colleges worldwide to create talent pipelines, offering mentorship, workshops, and opportunities to emerging performers and entertainment staff.

- Proven experience in casting and recruitment within the entertainment industry, with a focus on live performances and light entertainment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for talent and potential.
- Knowledge of industry-standard casting platforms and recruitment tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a respectful audition and recruitment process.
