Job Title: Talent Manager

Location: Hybrid: HQ + WFH
Salary: Depending on Experience

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Talent Manager to join our team at Water Creative, within our talent division, Underwater.

This role is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the Founder/Talent Director, co-managing agency’s highest-profile talents and gaining hands-on exposure to their strategy and career development, while also having the autonomy to independently manage, grow, and shape the careers of your own portfolio of emerging talent.

You will be expected to take a highly proactive approach, identifying opportunities, bringing forward ideas and solutions, and communicating priorities or capacity constraints early. Alongside overseeing commercial partnerships, you will contribute to talent strategy and career development, protect talent interests, and maintain a high standard of representation across every partnership, while also playing a key role in driving new business opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the agency.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced in influencer and talent partnerships who thrives in high-value and fast-paced environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Talent Management

  • Co-manage high-profile talent, taking an active role across day-to-day management, career strategy, and commercial partnerships, while independently managing your own portfolio of emerging and high-growth talent.
  • Lead negotiations with brands and agencies, securing strong commercial terms and protecting talent interests.
  • Proactively identify relevant commercial, brand, and career-development opportunities for talent, bringing recommendations and solutions to the Director and wider team.
  • Manage workload and priorities effectively, flagging capacity, risks, or potential delays early and proposing practical solutions.
  • Draft, review, and execute contracts including campaign agreements, licensing, usage rights, exclusivity, and long-term partnerships.
  • Manage complex and high-level scenarios with professionalism and commercial confidence.
  • Own talent organization and administration, keeping contracts, schedules, talent profiles, performance stats, and campaign details accurate and up to date to support delivery and new opportunities.
  • Oversee campaign delivery from briefing through to execution, ensuring timelines, quality, ASA compliance, and platform requirements are met.
  • Provide performance insights and strategic guidance to drive talent growth and commercial success.
  • Stay on top of cultural, social platforms, and industry trends to keep talent relevant and commercially competitive.
  • Manage inbound enquiries, rate cards, and inboxes, converting opportunities efficiently.
  • Support reputation and crisis management with discretion where required.
  • Work closely with the accounts team to manage invoicing, payments, and revenue tracking.
  • Foster positive relationships with brands, agencies, and other stakeholders to build a strong reputation and create repeat partnership opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
