Talent Media & Digital Strategy Manager
Citi is looking for a Talent Media & Digital Strategy Manager to join its Global Talent Acquisition function in Belfast on a 12-month fixed-term contract, executing talent attraction channel strategy and managing media investment that directly shapes how one of the world's leading financial institutions attracts top talent. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that combines campaign execution with meaningful budget management responsibility, partnering with talent attraction teams and third-party media contacts to align spend with business priorities and deliver continuous performance improvement. If you are an experienced paid media and talent attraction professional ready to operate at global scale, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on hiring outcomes worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Execute the global talent attraction channel strategy by evaluating, activating, and optimising market-leading paid media and organic channels to generate high-quality candidate applications at scale.
- Manage a portion of the global talent attraction budget, covering planning, forecasting, and ongoing tracking of actuals against plan to ensure spend is allocated based on performance and hiring demand.
- Activate and manage always-on campaigns across paid and organic channels, including Google Search, Display Banner Ads, Native Ads, Video Streaming, Sponsored Jobs, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Collaborate with campaign managers to provide structured input on media investment levels, balancing hiring priorities, return on investment expectations, and financial governance requirements.
- Monitor campaign performance across all channels, consolidate spend and effectiveness data, identify variances, and deliver data-driven recommendations that continuously improve channel ROI.
- Maintain data integrity across all campaigns through accurate tagging, cost attribution, and structured performance measurement frameworks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
