Talent Network (Engineering roles)

About the Role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Network (Engineering roles) based in United Kingdom.

This opportunity connects experienced blockchain engineers with high-impact infrastructure projects across the decentralized web. You will join a curated network of technical specialists working on challenging problems in blockchain infrastructure, security, privacy, scalability, and distributed systems. Projects may involve leading protocols and emerging technologies across multiple blockchain ecosystems. Each engagement is supported by a core engineering lead, giving you technical collaboration without the administrative burden of managing client relationships. You will have the flexibility to select projects that match your expertise, availability, and interests. The environment is remote, self-directed, and focused on delivering high-quality engineering rather than sales or administrative work.

Accountabilities

  • Contribute as a freelance engineering specialist to blockchain infrastructure and protocol projects aligned with your technical expertise.
  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve production-grade blockchain infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • Solve complex engineering challenges related to security, privacy, scalability, cryptography, consensus, protocols, and decentralized infrastructure.
  • Work collaboratively with core engineering teams and other specialists to deliver project objectives and technical milestones.
  • Take ownership of assigned technical work and independently manage implementation, problem-solving, testing, and delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making based on project requirements and engineering best practices.
  • Produce clean, reliable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities with other experienced engineers.
  • Contribute to open-source projects or other technical initiatives where relevant to project objectives.
  • Communicate technical progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly in English.
  • Adapt to different technology stacks, development methodologies, and project requirements depending on the engagement.
  • Work effectively within self-organizing teams while maintaining reliability, transparency, and accountability throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated engineering lead who coordinates project structure, client requirements, and delivery expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
