Talent & Operations Coordinator
London | Hybrid | High-Growth FinTech
SR2 is partnering with an exciting, fast-growing FinTech business to hire a Talent & Operations Coordinator who will play a key role across recruitment, candidate experience and wider business operations.
Working closely with the client's Chief of Staff, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of hiring while supporting the operational tasks that keep a scaling startup moving.
This is a hands-on opportunity with a clear progression path towards Talent Lead as the business grows.
What you'll be doing
- Own job postings across relevant platforms and keep live vacancies accurate and up to date.
- Manage incoming applications, candidate records and recruitment documentation.
- Proactively source and approach candidates for priority vacancies.
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls covering experience, motivation, communication and suitability.
- Maintain organised candidate pipelines across multiple live roles.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Manage take-home exercises, technical assessments and presentation stages.
- Track feedback, follow-ups and next steps to keep hiring processes moving quickly.
- Deliver a consistently strong candidate experience from first contact through to offer.
- Support the Chief of Staff with wider administrative, operational and office-related responsibilities.
- Coordinate internal meetings, documentation, team logistics and follow-up actions.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc projects as priorities evolve.
- Improve recruitment processes, templates, trackers and candidate communications.

What we're looking for
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Confidence speaking with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail across scheduling, candidate records and follow-ups.
- A proactive approach — you'll be comfortable taking ownership and moving work forward independently.
- Strong judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Someone comfortable working in a fast-moving startup where priorities can change quickly.
- A practical, service-led mindset with a willingness to support wherever needed.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, people operations, administration or business operations.
- Exposure to LinkedIn, job boards, ATS platforms, candidate databases or recruitment trackers.
- Experience conducting candidate screening calls or supporting end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Previous experience within a startup or scale-up environment.
- A genuine interest in developing a longer-term career within talent acquisition or people operations.
