At Oakdale, we believe in care that changes lives. For over 25 years, we’ve been delivering trusted, evidence-based therapies and assessments for children, young people, and adults. As a values-driven organisation, we work with the NHS, schools, local authorities, and private clients, always putting people first.
Now, we’re looking for a Talent Partner to lead end-to-end resourcing across the Group and to play an active role in shaping our learning and development.
If you’re passionate about attracting, recruiting and developing amazing people that do meaningful and impactful work, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
The Role – What You’ll Do

- Partner with hiring managers to build workforce and resourcing plans aligned to service demand, CQC and Ofsted requirements and budget.
- Design and continuously improve attraction strategies, including job design, advertising and candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical roles.
- Lead selection best practice and inclusive, values-based hiring decisions.
- Own recruitment compliance, including safer recruitment, DBS, right-to-work and professional registration checks.
- Support the HR Director in designing and building learning and development frameworks, and champion career pathways and internal mobility.
- Track and report on recruitment KPIs (time to hire, cost per hire, offer acceptance, agency spend) via Employment Hero.
- Own the new starter experience, ensuring a smooth, compliant onboarding for every new joiner
- Line-manage and develop a People Administrator, setting clear objectives and supporting their growth.
- Ensure statutory and mandatory training compliance is tracked and reported for CQC and Ofsted purposes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
