About Us

We work with some of the UK’s biggest companies and government departments to provide a pragmatic approach to technology, delivering bespoke software solutions and expert advice.

About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join the team in Newcastle. The role is hybrid with a mix of home working and office-based days. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience with recruiting within the technology sector. If you have experience of working within a consultancy, that would also be advantageous although not essential.

As a small team, we are very hands on and proactive. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to meet our demand hiring forecast. We have offices in Bristol, Leeds, and Scotland. You will be instrumental in proving high-calibre candidates across these locations, including Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of technical and business roles, including software engineering, data, cloud, DevOps, delivery, consulting, and leadership positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand current and future hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing market intelligence, salary benchmarking, recruitment insights, and guidance on best practice hiring.
  • Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referral networks, industry events, and talent communities.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for key skill areas to support future growth.
  • Promote Scott Logic's employer brand and employee value proposition across digital platforms, networking events, and recruitment campaigns.
  • Work closely with marketing and leadership teams to create engaging recruitment content and attraction strategies.
  • Utilise recruitment data and analytics to measure performance, identify trends, and continuously improve hiring outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
