Talent & People Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent & People Specialist based in United Kingdom.

This is a versatile People role combining talent acquisition with HR operations in a fast-growing, fully remote SaaS environment.

You’ll play a direct part in building high-performing teams, with around 40 hires expected each year across Tech, Product, Data, Growth, Finance, and other functions.

The role covers the full employee journey, from candidate engagement and hiring through onboarding, HR administration, and key employee moments.

You’ll work closely with hiring managers and the wider People team to create a smooth, transparent, and engaging candidate and employee experience.

There is significant scope to improve processes, automate workflows, strengthen HR systems, and introduce new tools and AI-enabled solutions.

The environment values autonomy, initiative, continuous learning, and a strong focus on impact, while offering the flexibility of fully remote work across Europe.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, ownership, and building better People processes in a growing organisation.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct HR interviews, assessing candidate motivation, communication, potential, and alignment with the organisation’s working environment.
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout recruitment processes, including role scoping, regular follow-ups, candidate feedback, and process coordination.
  • Manage and maintain the recruitment pipeline in the ATS, including candidate tracking, scorecards, follow-ups, and reporting.
  • Ensure a smooth, transparent, and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through interviews, offers, and constructive rejection feedback.
  • Present the organisation, its products, culture, working model, and growth opportunities compellingly to prospective candidates.
  • Understand candidate motivations and concerns, address potential blockers, and support successful hiring decisions through to offer acceptance and signature.
  • Own pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, covering both administrative processes and the employee experience during the first days and weeks.
  • Continuously improve key employee touchpoints by gathering feedback, measuring the experience, and implementing improvements.
  • Manage HR administration for employees in France, including contracts, amendments, employment statuses, assignments, and renewals.
  • Administer HR and payroll processes through Deel across multiple entities, including payroll, leave, absences, and expenses.
  • Monitor employee absences and work closely with HR leadership on sensitive or complex situations.
  • Automate administrative activities and document HR workflows through clear processes, templates, and documentation.
  • Respond to employee requests and collaborate closely with Finance to maintain accurate and reliable HR data.
  • Coordinate employee equipment throughout its lifecycle, including computer delivery, access management, passwords, and equipment recovery.
  • Maintain internal mailing lists and collaboration tools while coordinating relevant external partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
