San Francisco, New York, Washington, DC, London or Delhi, India
Position Overview
Room to Read is seeking an experienced Talent Programs Manager to design, build, and launch a new portfolio of global Talent Programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Employee Engagement and Development, the Talent Programs Manager will work closely with colleagues across the People Department and leaders throughout the organization to ensure programs address organizational needs, reflect applicable local requirements, and provide a meaningful experience for participants.
The role can be based in San Francisco, New York, Washington, DC, London, or Delhi, working a hybrid schedule in a local Room to Read hub location, based on meetings and employee events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
