Maintaining our reputation as a leading worldwide professional service organisation requires a highly skilled, knowledgeable, energetic team to manage our internal business functions. As a part of this diverse and talented group of individuals, you’ll play a vital role in EY’s success.

The opportunity

A Jersey based Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager to support on all day-to-day recruitment and talent operations.

The role will be responsible for supporting the Talent agenda for the Channel Islands and a key point of contact for employees and counsellors (managers) on a range of talent-related matters.

The role holder will build a deep understanding of business unit direction and Talent related topics/issues to ensure successful implementation of key projects and processes.

The role would work alongside a Talent Assistant Manager and Strategic Talent Consultants based in Guernsey and UK, so a teaming and communicative, collaborative approach is essential. Local Talent Partners in Jersey and Guernsey will also be key points of contact and direction for this role.

The role would suit someone with a hands-on approach and keen interest in broad, generalist HR given the scope for the role. A people focused, energetic and collaborative approach to engage with the business and wider Talent teams would be key to working collaboratively in a team environment, as well as a proactive approach to managing ad-hoc operational queries. Someone keen to build relationships both internally and externally to develop and harness talent and strong client focus with the ability to build good relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organisation at all levels given the matrixed structure of the business would be helpful.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
