Talent Sourcer – Spencer West LLP

Location: London (Hybrid, minimum 2 days in the office per week)
Reporting to: Director of Talent Acquisition

The Role

As we continue to scale, Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in driving our growth - particularly in identifying and engaging top-tier senior legal talent across global markets.

We are looking for an experienced Talent Sourcer to join our small in-house Talent Acquisition team. This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on candidate sourcing with coordination, recruitment operations, and project delivery in a high-growth, international law firm. There will be a real opportunity to make this role your own and develop into a full-cycle internal recruiter role.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Candidate Communication

  • Conduct proactive Partner sourcing via LinkedIn and other platforms
  • Craft and deliver tailored outreach messages to engage passive candidates
  • Run A/B testing on messaging approaches, tracking response rates and optimising engagement strategies
  • Maintain talent pipelines and mapping projects by jurisdiction and practice area
  • Support the development of targeted talent campaigns
  • Liaising with Partner candidates by phone and email

Recruitment Operations

  • Manage internal ATS (Screenloop), ensuring data accuracy and reporting integrity
  • Manage scheduling across multiple stakeholders and time zones, ensuring a seamless candidate experience
  • Coordinate candidate due diligence (e.g. checking practicing status)
  • Act as a key liaison with external agencies - briefing, coordination, and following up on submissions
  • Follow up on interview feedback and maintain momentum across live hiring processes
  • Liaise with Practice Operations and Onboarding teams for candidate offers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
