Learning & Workforce Skills Consultant
Location: London, Manchester, Edinburgh | Career Level: CL9
The challenge we are solving
Workforce capability has become a C-Suite priority. AI is rewriting roles, compressing skill lifecycles and creating an urgent capability gap that traditional training approaches cannot close. For CHROs and CLOs, the question is no longer whether to reinvent their learning organisation — it is how to do it fast enough, at sufficient scale, and with measurable impact on business performance.
Accenture's Learning practice exists to answer that challenge. Powered by LearnVantage — our AI-native enterprise learning business and platform — we help the world's largest organisations shift from fragmented, costly training to personalised, AI-enabled capability building that drives productivity, engagement and growth. We are growing rapidly and building the team to match.
As a team
You will join the Learning offering within Accenture's Talent Reinvention practice — a team at the intersection of consulting, AI and enterprise workforce transformation. We design and deliver AI skilling programmes, learning operating model transformations and intelligent platform implementations for CHROs, CLOs and business leaders who need to move fast.
We are not a traditional L&D function. We are a growth-oriented consulting practice, and we are looking for people who want to build something new — not maintain something that already exists.
In this role you will
- Contribute to end-to-end client engagements across learning and workforce transformation — supporting analysis, solution design, stakeholder engagement and delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Help design and deliver enterprise AI skilling programmes: building role-based learning journeys that develop genuine AI fluency across client workforces, not just awareness training.
- Support skills gap analysis and workforce capability assessments, using data to connect learning investment to business outcomes.
- Contribute to the design of enterprise skilling architectures: helping clients think through how content, platforms, skills data and AI fit together at scale.
- Work with modern AI-enabled learning technology ecosystems — gaining hands-on exposure to LXPs, skills intelligence platforms and AI learning tools.
- Support business development activity: contributing to proposals, client presentations and opportunity development as part of a growing market presence.
- Collaborate with LearnVantage product teams, Udacity and Accenture's global learning network to deliver integrated solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We are looking for
- A consulting mindset first: you approach problems analytically, communicate clearly, and are comfortable operating in ambiguous, client-facing environments.
- Some exposure to learning, workforce transformation, talent or HR consulting — whether through a consulting firm, an advisory role, or a technology company in this space.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and its practical application to workforce capability: you have explored AI tools, followed the space, or ideally applied AI in a learning or talent context.
- An understanding of what modern enterprise learning looks like — you can articulate the difference between a programme that changes behaviour and one that drives completions.
- Strong communication and analytical skills; comfortable building a structured argument and presenting to senior audiences.
- Energy and drive to contribute to business growth, not just client delivery.
Preferred experience
- Experience applying AI, automation or emerging technology to learning, talent or workforce challenges — assessed through specific examples, not theoretical knowledge.
- Exposure to modern learning technology ecosystems, including AI-enabled learning platforms or LXPs.
- Background in project-based delivery whether from management consulting, HR/learning technology, ed-tech, or workforce transformation.
