F-CAD is a well-established Scottish business providing a complete CAD design engineering service that adapts to the needs of businesses that we partner with. We deliver targeted support which ranges from additional capability alongside existing teams, through a full end-to-end Design-to-Manufacture partner delivering the entire development process.
Because of increasing project requirements, we are seeking to recruit for a number of roles:
Senior Design Engineers
- Mechanical and Electrical Engineering capability
- Delivery of projects using DFMEA/Reliability techniques
- Practical, hands-on experience of manufacturing systems
- Ability to specify materials and associated production processes
- 3-5 years' experience
- Proven ability to lead design and manufacturing outsourcing
- Proven ability to use CAD systems as a tool in complex customer projects
- Ability to meet customer deadlines across multiple concurrent projects

Design Engineers
- General engineering degree
- Minimum 1 year in industry preferred.
- Proficient in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor preferred)

Both roles are remote but with travel to customer/manufacturing sites. This may include some international travel.
We offer full support in the role with ongoing training and personal development, with full involvement in planning and delivering the business through structured whole team events. Because of the need to meet as a team we are looking for candidates located in North East England or Scotland.
