Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tanium Developer to design, develop, administer, and optimize the Tanium platform for endpoint management, security compliance, vulnerability remediation, and automation. The role requires deep expertise in Tanium modules, scripting, endpoint management, and integration with enterprise ITSM and security tools.
Key Responsibilities
Tanium Platform Administration
- Administer and maintain Tanium infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Tanium modules:
- Asset
- Discover
- Deploy
- Patch
- Comply
- Enforce
- Reveal
- Threat Response
- Perform platform upgrades, health checks, and troubleshooting.
Development & Automation
- Develop custom Tanium Sensors, Packages, and Saved Questions.
- Create automation using:
- PowerShell
- Python
- Bash
- Design and implement automated remediation workflows.
- Build integration solutions using Tanium APIs.

Endpoint Management
- Support software deployment and patch management.
- Monitor endpoint compliance and configuration drift.
- Drive vulnerability remediation initiatives.
Security & Compliance
- Implement endpoint security controls.
- Support internal compliance requirements.
- Generate audit and compliance reports.
- Partner with Cyber Security teams for threat response and hardening activities.
Integration & Reporting
- Integrate Tanium with:
- ServiceNow
- SIEM platforms
- CMDB
- IT Operations tools
- Develop dashboards and reports for leadership and operational teams.
- Support automation and reporting requirements.

Technical Skills Required
Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Tanium Platform.
- Experience in:
- Tanium Patch
- Tanium Deploy
- Tanium Comply
- Tanium Discover
- Tanium Enforce
- PowerShell scripting.
- Windows Server administration.
- Endpoint Security concepts.
- Vulnerability Management.
- API integration knowledge.
Preferred
- ServiceNow Integration.
- CrowdStrike / Defender.
- SCCM / MECM.
- Splunk/SIEM.
- Python automation.
Desired Soft Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in global 24x7 support environments.
- Experience collaborating with Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
