Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Tanker Driver role based in Aberdeen Area. The Tanker Driver will be responsible for safely operating fuel tankers to deliver bulk fuels and heating oil to commercial, agricultural, and domestic customers. Daily tasks include:

- Planning delivery routes
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Loading and unloading fuel in line with safety and environmental regulations
- Completing delivery documentation accurately

The role involves interacting with customers on-site, providing courteous and professional service, and representing Gleaner Ltd in line with company values. The Tanker Driver will work closely with depot staff and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving skills with experience operating fuel tankers or heavy goods vehicles.
- Candidates should possess a valid Class 2 (or equivalent HGV entitlement) and all required fuel and hazardous goods certifications.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build positive relationships with customers and depot teams.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Truck safety, maintenance checks, and adherence to transport regulations.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a clean driving record, knowledge of local routes in the Greater Aberdeen Area, and prior experience in fuel distribution or similar industries.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, handle manual tasks associated with loading/unloading, and work reliably with minimal supervision.
