About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team which supports TASC Research & Development services. We are looking for an accountant to work in conjunction with the Finance Manager, and other members of the Finance Team, to provide financial support to TASC Management. You will assist the Finance Manager to develop and implement finance strategies and processes to facilitate clinical research activity and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the Finance Manager and other members of the Finance Team.

Requirements

  • CCAB fully or part qualified.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills in interpreting complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.

Additional Information

  • Specialised knowledge of NHS research funding would be advantageous but not essential. On the job training will be provided.
  • Hours of work: 36 hours per week.
