Bluestone Vineyards
Bluestone Vineyards is a premium English sparkling wine estate seeking a friendly and organised Tasting Room Host & Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of our visitor experience.
This role combines guest hospitality with administrative and operational support. The successful candidate will welcome visitors to the tasting room, assist with wine tastings, and support the team with bookings, reporting, stock management, and general administration.
Working closely with the Tasting Room Manager and Sales Manager, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people but is also comfortable with spreadsheets, systems, and organisational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the tasting room and provide a warm and professional first impression
- Assist with wine tastings and general visitor hospitality
- Support the Tasting Room Manager with the day-to-day operation of the tasting room
- Manage bookings for tours, tastings, and visitor experiences
- Assist with administrative tasks including spreadsheets, reporting, and record keeping
- Process sales through the POS system and assist with end-of-day reporting
- Monitor retail stock levels and assist with merchandising displays
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the tasting room
- Assist with customer enquiries via email and phone
- Support the delivery of on-site events and busy visitor days
- Assist with Wine Club administration and customer records where required

About You
- Friendly, welcoming, and confident interacting with guests
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, booking systems, and POS software
- Able to balance guest service with administrative tasks
- Reliable and proactive with a willingness to help across the team
- Interest in wine and hospitality (WSET qualifications desirable but not essential)
- Flexible and available to work weekends and busy visitor periods
- Full driving licence desirable
