A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its growing finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to broaden their experience across both direct and indirect taxes within a large, regulated business environment.
The Opportunity
Working within a specialist tax team, you will support a wide range of tax compliance and reporting activities, ensuring the business meets its statutory obligations while contributing to ongoing tax governance and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare corporation tax computations and statutory tax filings.
- Calculate quarterly corporation tax instalment payments.
- Support current and deferred tax reporting for group and statutory accounts.
- Assist with tax disclosures, audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Support transfer pricing documentation and Pillar Two compliance activities.
- Prepare withholding tax filings and related compliance obligations.
- Assist with VAT returns and indirect tax compliance matters.
- Contribute to tax governance, controls, policies and process documentation.
- Support internal and external audits and liaise with key stakeholders across the business.
- Monitor tax legislation developments and assess potential impacts on the organisation.

About You
We're looking for an ambitious tax professional who can demonstrate:
- Relevant tax experience gained either in industry or practice.
- ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualification (or active studies towards qualification).
- Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting tax accounting and VAT compliance activities.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Desirable Experience
- Transfer pricing, withholding tax or Pillar Two exposure.
- Experience within financial services, automotive finance or another regulated environment.
- Knowledge of tax governance and compliance frameworks.
