Tax Accountant | Hospitality & Leisure | £70,000 | 5 days in office Kensington, London
We're recruiting for a leading international hotel group with a strong presence across the UK and Europe. This newly created role within a high-performing finance team offers you the chance to play a key role in UK tax compliance and financial reporting division with exposure to senior stakeholders and to influence key decisions across the business.
This position requires someone with UK corporation tax experience who is looking to build a long-term career in a commercially focused, in-house environment with genuine progression opportunities.

- Preparing and reviewing UK corporation tax computations, returns and supporting schedules across multiple entities.
- Producing tax provisions, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Supporting the year-end audit process by preparing tax documentation and acting as a key contact for external auditors.
- Assisting with tax forecasting, quarterly tax payments and responding to HMRC queries where required.
- Working closely with the wider finance team to improve tax processes, strengthen controls and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.
What we're looking for

- ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in UK corporation tax, gained in either practice or an in-house environment.
- A strong accounting background with experience preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting statutory reporting.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a desire to make an impact.
