Tax Accountant
£55,000 - £75,000

We are seeking a qualified Tax Accountant to join a Statutory Accounting team within a growing international business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant with a solid background in both statutory reporting and tax.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts across multiple entities.
- Review of monthly P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Management of tax compliance activities, including VAT, tax computations, filings, and declarations.
- Ownership of deferred tax calculations and support with R&D tax claims.
- Liaison with external auditors and review of audit and tax deliverables.
- Support international tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Manage and develop a small team of two finance professionals.

About You:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Ideally 3+ years PQE.
- Strong statutory accounting and audit experience.
- Confident with tax matters including tax computations, deferred tax, and VAT compliance.
- Experience reviewing financial statements and working with external auditors.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
- International tax exposure would be advantageous.
