Your new company
A leading independent accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Tax Advisor to join its growing Liverpool team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified tax professional seeking a highly advisory-focused role with exposure to a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, high-net-worth individuals and complex transactions.
Your new role
Working closely with experienced tax specialists and partners, you will support clients across a broad range of tax matters, with a particular focus on Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs), private client advisory, restructuring projects and transaction-related work. You will be involved in a varied and interesting workload, including:
- Providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses and their shareholders.
- Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on personal tax planning matters.
- Supporting on inheritance tax (IHT) and succession planning projects.
- Assisting with corporate restructures, group reorganisations and business planning initiatives.
- Working on company sales, acquisitions and other transactional tax assignments.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborating with senior tax professionals on complex advisory projects.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering commercially focused solutions.

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified/Studying
- Previous experience within a practice environment.
- Exposure to private client, OMB or mixed tax advisory work.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to further develop your advisory expertise.
- A genuine interest in working closely with entrepreneurial businesses and private clients.
