Our client is the asset management of an international Swiss bank in Zurich. We are looking for a tax individual (m, f, d) as

Tax Advisor Investment Funds / International Transactions (EU/US)

Aufgaben

  • As an international tax manager in a fund product development team, you manage product projects from a legal, regulatory, operational and project management perspective
  • Advising specialists and managers in the development of product regarding tax issues
  • Advising on tax efficiency in financial transactions and investments
  • Manage client's investment needs, negotiate terms with client's law firms, draft side letters, write memorandums, etc.
  • Ongoing analysis of financial transaction tax for existing investments, launching transaction tax initiatives and monitoring the tax structuring of financial transactions
  • Work on documentation relating to a variety of fund structures and the compliance regarding onboarding of investments
  • Coordinating tax projects, processes and procedures with tax firms and authorities worldwide
  • Develop a service catalog and define relevant interfaces with (operational) teams
  • Investigating legal and regulatory considerations relevant to particular clients, products and jurisdictions
  • Conducting trainings on tax issues and best practice for transaction-based tax
  • Commissioning and managing external legal advisors and other service providers
  • Ad hoc situational projects

Qualifikation

  • Master in Tax or Legal
  • MBA, LL.M., as an advantage
  • Professional experience as a tax expert or tax lawyer at a BigFour, international top law firm or asset manager with fund investments
  • Knowledge of investment funds and transaction regulation e.g. UCITS, UCITSD, AIFMD, MiFID
  • Knowledge of EU and US Tax regulations
  • Knowledge of private equity, private real estate, private debt and private infrastructure funds and tax structuring
  • Knowledge of global fund jurisdictions, including Luxembourg, Delaware and Cayman Islands. etc.
  • Interested with different fund structures
  • Ability to manage tax issues successfully with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to consider varying tax considerations
  • Ability to work with product development teams on new fund strategies
  • Ability to manage external stakeholders and to meet ambitious timelines
  • Analytical, detail-oriented individual with skillful communication
  • Team player
  • Proficient in MS Office.
