Company: EG On The Move

About The Role

Join a growing, forward-thinking finance team where you'll play a key role in delivering tax compliance and reporting across UK and France. As our Tax Analyst, you'll support the Tax Manager with VAT and Corporation Tax compliance (including Capital Allowances), tax reporting, governance activities, and tax claims and payment processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in tax, with exposure to cross-border compliance, systems improvement projects, and wider tax advisory work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where you'll be encouraged to grow and develop.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the Group's Corporation Tax and VAT compliance calendar, coordinating filing deadlines, tax payments and stakeholder inputs to ensure all obligations are met accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and support Corporation Tax compliance and reporting, including quarterly and year-end tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, tax disclosures and UK Capital Allowances computations.
  • Prepare and review UK and France VAT returns and reconciliations, investigate variances, maintain robust audit trails and ensure ongoing compliance with indirect tax legislation.
  • Support indirect tax processes by reviewing VAT coding across finance and product systems, managing the Group's Bespoke Retail Scheme Agreement and identifying opportunities to improve VAT processes and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for direct and indirect tax claims, preparing supporting documentation, submitting claims where appropriate and monitoring progress, deadlines and expected recoveries.
  • Drive continuous improvements in tax systems, data and processes, supporting enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 to improve automation, reporting, controls and data integrity.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Retail and Commercial teams to improve tax awareness, enhance data quality and ensure the correct tax treatment of business transactions.
  • Support the Tax Manager on a wide range of tax advisory projects, audits, transfer pricing, legislative changes and governance initiatives, helping to strengthen the Group's tax controls, risk management and compliance framework.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
