Tax and Social Security Specialist
Accord Business Partnerships are recruiting a Tax and Social Security Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Position Summary
The Tax and Social Security Specialist ensures compliance with all national and international tax and social security regulations. This role involves advising on social security obligations, monitoring legislative changes and optimizing processes to reduce risks and costs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate and employee taxation, international mobility, and social insurance frameworks, with the ability to translate complex regulations into practical business guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance
- Prepare, review, and submit all tax-related filings, including income tax, payroll tax, and withholding tax.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to relevant authorities.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

Social Security Management
- Advise on cross-border social security implications for international employees and expatriates.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all social insurance schemes and benefits.
Advisory & Strategy
- Provide guidance on tax and social security implications for employment contracts, bonuses, and benefits packages.
- Support HR and Finance teams in structuring compensation plans to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency.
- Interpret and communicate new laws, treaties, and regulations affecting the organization.
Process Improvement
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to digitalization and automation of tax and payroll systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, and Legal departments to align policies and procedures.
- Support internal training on tax and social security matters for relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field (Master’s degree or tax certification preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tax, payroll, or social security administration.
- Strong knowledge of tax and social security legislation; familiarity with international frameworks (EU, OECD, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and payroll software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with international mobility or expatriate taxation.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
