Tax Assistant Manager

As a Tax Assistant Manager specialising in advisory within the professional services industry, you'll play a key role in supporting clients with expert tax advice and compliance. Based in Leeds, you'll help ensure their tax affairs are managed effectively while contributing to the success of the team.

Description

  • Provide tailored tax advisory services to a range of clients.
  • Assist with complex tax compliance matters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support senior team members in delivering high-quality tax solutions.
  • Conduct research on tax legislation and apply findings to client cases.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify opportunities for tax planning and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of junior team members through mentoring and guidance.

Profile

A successful Tax Assistant Manager should have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and advisory practices.
  • Experience working within tax advisory and compliance in professional services.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client-focused solutions.
  • A relevant tax or accountancy qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Experience in managing and reviewing junior workload.
