Role and Responsibilities

Client Relationships
- Build and nurture relationships with clients as the primary day-to-day contact
- Lead advisory projects and deliver tailored solutions

Tax & Compliance
- Review tax returns and prepare calculations for Income Tax/NIC
- Conduct arrival/departure briefings for assignees
- Offer written advice on Global Mobility challenges

Team Management
- Project manage client engagements
- Coach and support junior staff, ensuring service excellence
- Business development contributions

Stakeholder Engagement
- Keep clients updated on GMS developments
- Represent KPMG at client engagements
Qualifications & Skills
- Professional Qualification
- Preferred: ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) or equivalent.
Experience & Attributes
Core Requirements: ✓ Deep experience in UK Expatriate tax, including briefings, tax filings, and advisory. ✓ Proven ability to manage global assignee populations, covering immigration, social security, and compensation schemes for multi-country deployments. ✓ Strong analytical mindset with aptitude for problem-solving, including refining research and evaluation skills. ✓ Exceptional written verbally, delivering clear, engaging communication—critical in handling technical topics. ✓ High initiative, accountability, and charisma to thrive in consultative yet fast-paced environments.
