About the role
KPMG Tax & Legal helps organisations navigate complex tax, legal and workforce challenges while supporting growth, compliance and strategic decision-making. Within Global Mobility Services, you will help clients manage the people aspects of operating across borders, providing guidance on tax, social security, immigration and workforce mobility matters. This is a client-facing opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys building trusted relationships, taking ownership of work and supporting international assignments from planning through to delivery.
Roles and responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as the day-to-day contact for assigned accounts.
- Review tax returns and income tax and National Insurance calculations to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Conduct arrival and departure tax briefings for internationally mobile employees.
- Prepare clear written advice and support clients with expatriate tax and global mobility matters.
- Manage advisory and compliance projects, coordinating activities to achieve successful client outcomes.
- Keep clients informed of relevant global mobility developments and regulatory changes.
- Support business development activities, proposals and client growth opportunities.
- Coach and support junior team members, helping to maintain high service standards.

Experience and skills needed

- Experience reviewing and delivering UK expatriate tax compliance and advisory services.
- Experience managing globally mobile employee populations and coordinating mobility-related matters.
- Ability to build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing client-facing advice.
- Experience managing projects, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
- Experience supporting, coaching or developing junior colleagues.
Qualifications required
- ATT qualified or hold an equivalent professional qualification
