Tax Assistant Manager | Music Accountancy Practice

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Tax Assistant Manager to join a well-established music accountancy practice. This role combines tax compliance and advisory work, offering exposure to a varied client portfolio while supporting the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
  • Review tax returns, computations, and supporting documentation.
  • Support tax planning and advisory projects through research and report preparation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and assist with advisory work.
  • Support workflow management and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation and internal quality standards.

  • 3–5 years' experience in mixed tax, including compliance and advisory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporation tax.
  • Experience reviewing work and providing technical guidance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and client management skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering a high standard of client service.
