Tax Assistant Manager
Pure Search are partnered with a multinational technology business looking to hire a Tax Assistant Manager to be based in London. This would be a great first move from practice to work in-house.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support on international tax matters across a range of business activities, transactions, and cross-border arrangements, working with internal stakeholders and tax specialists as required.
- Assess the tax implications of international initiatives, organisational changes, cross-border transactions, and changes to business operations, identifying key risks, opportunities, and areas requiring further consideration.
- Support the development of practical international tax solutions, considering areas such as cross-border structuring, withholding taxes, permanent establishment, transfer pricing, and local tax requirements.
- Assist with international tax planning and advisory projects, helping to identify appropriate options and understand the potential tax, commercial, and compliance implications.
- Work closely with local tax teams, internal tax specialists, finance teams, and external advisors to coordinate international tax advice and ensure relevant jurisdictional requirements are considered.
- Support the review of international structures and transactions, helping to assess whether they remain appropriate from a tax, commercial, and compliance perspective.
- Monitor international tax developments, including changes to legislation, guidance, and OECD initiatives, and assess their potential impact on the business and existing arrangements.
- Support tax audits, enquiries, and other interactions with tax authorities across relevant jurisdictions, working with internal teams and external advisors to respond to information requests and resolve issues.
- Contribute to improving international tax processes, documentation, and ways of working to support consistent, efficient, and compliant tax management across the business.

Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- First-time in-house move would be beneficial
- No visa sponsorship available
- Ability to travel into London minimum 3 days a week
