AJ Chambers are working with a top-tier law firm renowned for its excellent culture, strong career development opportunities and commitment to its people. They are looking for a Tax Associate to join its supportive tax team in London.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking fee-earning work and contributing to the commercial performance of the division.
- Supporting the firm’s strategic and business development objectives in line with its business plan and values.
- Delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal services while maintaining professional, ethical and quality standards.
- Acting as a positive ambassador for the firm and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Liaising with clients by telephone and email, taking instructions and responding to queries.
- Conducting detailed document reviews and accurately recording key findings and issues.
- Assisting with case management and the day-to-day progression of client matters.
- Supporting the team with ad hoc legal, administrative and research tasks.
- Contributing to business development activities, including maintaining marketing databases and preparing promotional materials.
- Assisting with the establishment and implementation of share incentive schemes, including preparing relevant documentation.
- Assisting with HMRC applications for S/EIS relief and preparing certificates and supporting documentation for investors.

Key Requirements:

- 2-5 year's post qualification experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- IT literate, confident user of MS office
- Ability to manage a busy workload and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members
- Confidence in client facing meetings and communications
- Attention to accuracy and detail
