At Medik8, we are transforming the industry with science-backed technology, and our dedication to exceptional skincare products has built a reputation for excellence. Our goal is to continue to scale the business through global expansion, multi-channel distribution, and product innovation.
Our centralised finance team supports operations across Europe and North America, ensuring seamless payment processing and providing vital guidance to internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will play a key role in supporting our global compliance, tax, and audit processes as the business scales.
Beyond routine numbers and compliance, we are looking for someone who takes initiative and adds value. You will build strong relationships across internal departments and external partners, take a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and have great organisational skills. If you thrive in a dynamic setting, manage shifting priorities with ease, and enjoy collaborating within a close-knit team, this role offers an ideal fit.
In more detail, your role will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns across the UK and Europe.
- Assisting in the preparation of Sales and Use Tax (SUT) and Canadian VAT returns across the US and Canada.
- Ensuring all tax reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintaining precise tax records and comprehensive supporting documentation.
- Supporting tax compliance requirements across the UK, EU, US, and additional global jurisdictions.
- Monitoring compliance deadlines to guarantee timely submissions and payments.
- Supporting audit requests and queries during interim and final audit periods.
- Conducting ad-hoc tax analysis to guide broader commercial and financial decisions.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support team members and business partners when needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
