As a Tax Compliance Accountant you will report to the Senior Tax Manager, taking responsibility for supporting corporate tax compliance for the main UK legal entity and its subsidiaries including preparation of all aspects of the corporate tax compliance cycle and statutory reporting, liaising with other internal functions including finance, commercial, and external tax advisors. This position involves contacts across multiple divisions in the UK and Italy, including the Head Office Corporate Tax team and external advisors.

This is a hybrid role combining both onsite and remote working each week and can be based from either our Yeovil or Edinburgh site.

  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and input into Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Assist with preparation of documentation to support the Senior Accounting Officer requirements and support audit requests as required.

  • Minimise exposure to penalties or additional tax arising from late lodgement of returns, taxation audits or mis-declaration penalties. Assist in the production and, where applicable, the updating of the documentation of the Tax Team’s processes and evidence/support of tax treatments.
  • Prepare information to respond to Law 262 internal audit and external audits.
  • Support the wider tax team as necessary.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
