Looking for an in-house opportunity where you can combine technical tax expertise with commercial exposure and international project work?

Brewer Morris Recruitment are working on this exciting opportunity to join the tax team of a global, technology-driven multinational business operating across multiple international markets. Working within a highly commercial environment, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of international tax matters while playing a key role in the group's compliance, reporting, and transformation agenda.

The position offers a genuine opportunity to move beyond traditional compliance, partnering with finance teams and external advisers globally while contributing to major international tax projects, including OECD Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting.

The Opportunity

As Tax Compliance & Reporting Manager, you'll take ownership of key tax reporting and compliance processes across a multinational group. You'll work closely with stakeholders across finance, tax, and external advisory teams to ensure the organisation meets its global tax obligations while continuously improving processes and enhancing the use of technology.

This role would particularly suit:

  • A practice-trained tax professional seeking their first move in-house.
  • An existing in-house tax professional looking for broader international exposure.
  • Someone who enjoys combining technical tax work with process improvement and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quarterly and annual corporate tax reporting activities, including current and deferred tax provisions.
  • Manage global tax compliance and reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate Country-by-Country Reporting and other international reporting requirements.
  • Support the delivery of OECD Pillar Two compliance and reporting.
  • Drive efficiencies through process improvement, automation, and technology solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with finance teams and external advisers around the world.
  • Support and mentor junior team members within the tax function.

About You

We're interested in speaking with candidates who bring:

  • Strong corporate tax reporting experience, ideally within practice, industry, or a combination of both.
  • Experience of tax accounting and reporting under US GAAP (ASC 740) or a comparable reporting framework.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and leveraging technology.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced international environment.
