We are looking for a talented and ambitious Tax Consultant to join our growing Tax Advisory team in Shrewsbury. The Role:
As a Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advisory services to our clients. You will work closely with managers and partners to provide practical, commercially focused solutions across a range of tax disciplines.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing technical tax advice across a variety of tax areas.
- Managing advisory projects from initial scope through to completion.
- Supporting clients with tax planning opportunities, assisting with corporate restructures, succession planning and business transactions.
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted adviser.
- Attending and leading client meetings.
- Supporting the development of junior team members.
- Contributing technical content for client communications, seminars and marketing activity.
What We Are Looking For:
- Ideally ATT/CT qualified (or qualified by experience).
- Previous experience within a tax advisory or mixed tax role.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ideally previous experience of working in an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience of managing client relationships and projects.
