Tax Data Analyst

Global Tax Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Tax Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of tax compliance, data management, and systems operations supporting the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of Amazon's global indirect tax reporting. The Tax Data Analyst brings a strong foundation in VAT/GST principles, hands-on experience reconciling complex datasets, and the curiosity to improve how tax data flows through our systems. This is an ideal role for someone eager to deepen their tax technology expertise, work across technical and business teams, and contribute to building scalable compliance solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Reconcile large-scale datasets across tax calculation and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity from source systems through transformation to final outputs identifying root causes of discrepancies and driving resolution
  • Configure and maintain business rules for tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions, validating that mathematical models align with tax compliance requirements
  • Manage data flows across the tax reporting lifecycle identifying gaps, documenting requirements, and validating system output attributes against expected compliance outcomes
  • Partner with engineering, data, and tax teams to support new system implementations and integrations, serving as a reliable liaison who can translate between technical and business contexts
  • Support change management activities for new system implementations, including testing, validation, and documentation of updated processes
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives identifying inefficiencies in existing workflows and proposing practical, scalable solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
