Tax Director – Indirect Tax Focus

A unique and privately owned business are looking to hire their first tax lead. Due to the nature of the business and their growth across a global scale, this role will largely be looking at Indirect Tax work with a small amount of Direct Tax to manage.

Working fully remotely and reporting out the US, the role will encompass being the strategic lead on all tax matters, building out the function and ensuring long-term tax processes are in place for best practice compliance.

The company are in the e-commerce space so this is a busy and fun environment that would suit someone used to working in an agile and remote-first operation.

If you’ve got:

  • Strategic and commercial Indirect Tax experience from an in-house or practice environment
  • An understanding of multi-channel platforms and how tax works with these businesses (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience of developing and building processes/functions
  • Ideally an accounting or tax qualification ACA/ACCA/CTA
