Tax Disputes Manager

Bristol | £60,000-£70,000 + Bonus | Hybrid

Ready to take your Tax Disputes career to the next level? A growing specialist Tax Investigations & Disputes firm is looking for an experienced Tax Disputes Manager to join its Bristol team. This is a great opportunity to join a business that is growing quickly, genuinely specialises in contentious tax and offers a clear pathway for progression.

The Role

You'll manage a portfolio of interesting and complex HMRC investigations and tax disputes, working directly with clients and HMRC. You'll be involved in:

  • Tax disputes and HMRC investigations
  • COP8 and COP9 cases
  • Complex enquiries and information requests
  • Voluntary disclosures
  • Negotiations and settlements with HMRC
  • Advising individuals and businesses on contentious tax matters
  • Managing client relationships and your own caseload
  • Supporting junior members of the team

What We're Looking For

Tax disputes experience is essential. We're looking for someone who already has strong experience handling HMRC investigations and disputes and wants to continue developing within a specialist environment. Experience from a Big 4, Top 20/50, boutique tax investigations firm or HMRC would all be relevant.
