Tax Investigations Senior Manager
Cardiff | £70,000-£80,000 + benefits | Permanent
A rapidly growing accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Tax Investigations Senior Manager to join its expanding Tax Investigations team in Cardiff.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced investigations professional looking for genuine progression, strong client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in growing the wider Tax Investigations offering.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of complex HMRC investigations and enquiries
- Advise individuals and businesses throughout the investigation process
- Handle tax investigations, disclosures, settlements and penalty matters
- Manage key client relationships and provide commercially focused advice
- Support and develop junior members of the team
- Work closely with wider tax teams to identify opportunities and generate new work
- Contribute to the continued growth of the Tax Investigations function
- Take ownership of complex cases and high-value client relationships

About You
We're looking for an experienced Tax Investigations Senior Manager with a strong background in HMRC investigations and disputes. We're also open to strong Managers operating at Senior Manager level who are ready for increased responsibility. Candidates from HMRC with relevant investigations experience are also encouraged to apply.
